Humans trek different paths that tell different stories. Whether these stories educate or inspire people, I have spent my college career finding ways to spread the messages each story holds.

 

My trek has taken me from Guyana to New York and now landed me in Western Massachusetts. I have completed a degree in journalism at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in May of 2018.

 

I am well-versed in broadcast journalism, from hard news to social media videos. I love to interact with the community through different outlets – from my time as student body president at Springfield Technical Community College or as a part of the social media marketing team for UMass Amherst.

 

Whether it was serving tables or delivering the news to my college campus, I pride myself on my ability to connect with people. Most of all, my work showcases my real passion for serving my community through helping people find – and tell -- their own narrative.
